On 18 June, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Mr. Emomali Rahmon, sent a congratulatory message to the Amir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, which reads as follows:

In connection with the constructive mediating role of the State of Qatar in achieving a peace agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, I extend to you my sincere congratulations and best wishes.

We highly appreciate your consistent efforts in resolving this sensitive issue. We are confident that the agreements reached in this regard will create a solid foundation for ensuring comprehensive peace in the Middle East, strengthening the international security system, promoting sustainable economic and social development at the global level, and advancing new peace-oriented initiatives in this sphere.

The Republic of Tajikistan, as a peace-loving country and a supporter of resolving all disputes and conflicts through negotiations and dialogue, wholeheartedly welcomes this significant diplomatic achievement.
