On 9 July 2026, H.E. Ardasher Qodiri, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia, met with Professor Syed Farid Alatas Co-Founder and Director of Asia West East Center (ASIAWE) and Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at the National University of Singapore and Dr. Abdolreza Alami, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia and Co-Founder of Asia West East Center (ASIAWE).

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for collaboration in the cultural, scientific and educational fields.

The parties also discussed potential cooperation in organizing joint scientific and cultural events dedicated to history and civilization.
