On 18 May 2023, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand
and the Permanent Representative of the country to the UN Economic and Social Commission
for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) Ardasher Kodiri on the sidelines of 79th session of the
Commission had a bilateral meeting with the UN Deputy Secretary General and Executive
Secretary of UNESCAP, Ms. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of cooperation, as well as exchanged
views on the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of Tajikistan invited Ms. Armida Salsia to pay official visit
to Tajikistan. The Executive Secretary of the Commission accepted the invitation and stated that
he would pay an official visit to Tajikistan at a convenient time for both sides.
