On 21st of August 2023 the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia H.E. Mr. Ardasher Qodiri had a meeting with the Director General of National Anti-Drugs Agency of Malaysia Mr. Sutekno Ahmad Belon.
Deputy Director General Dato Dr. Muhammad Sade bin Mohammad Amin, Director of Enforcement and Security Mr. Azmi Mustapha, Director of Policy, Planning and Research Mr. Othman bin Ahmad Nazori were among the delegates from the Malaysian Anti-Drugs Agency.
During the meeting the delegates discussed the situation pertaining to combating illicit drug trafficking, prevention of the spread of narcotics, and treatment/rehabilitation of drug addicts in both countries.
The sides reached an understanding on future cooperation in the sphere of combating drugs proliferation and other areas of mutual interest.
The meeting was held in the spirit of mutual understanding and cooperation.
