On September 8, 2022, the King of Malaysia, the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong XVI, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah has sent a message of congratulations to the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of the 31st Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The message reads, in particular:
“Your Excellency,
It gives Us great pleasure to extend Our heartfelt congratulations to Your Excellency and the people of the Republic of Tajikistan on the 31st Anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan.
As we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our diplomatic relations this year, it is Our fervent hope that Malaysia and Tajikistan will continue the close and brotherly bilateral relationship between our two countries for the mutual benefit of our two countries and peoples.
We pray to Allah the Almighty to shower His blessings upon Your Excellency with good health and well-being, as well as upon the people of Tajikistan with peace, progress and prosperity.
