On May 23, 2022, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia, Republic of Indonesia, Kingdom of Thailand and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to UNESCAP with residence in Kuala Lumpur, Mr. Ardasher Qodiri met with the Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Trade (KADIN) – Industrial sector Mr. Bobby Gafur S. Umar.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of opportunities for trade and economic cooperation, as well as ways of strengthening interactions between the private and government sectors of the two countries. The Ambassador emphasized about favorable conditions which have been created for the business community and foreign investors to implement investment projects in Tajikistan.
The parties agreed to strengthen the legal framework between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Trade. At the same time have been decided to organize a business forum of entrepreneurs of the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, interlocutors expressed their readiness to strengthen economic cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis and stressed the importance of joint efforts for the development of bilateral cooperation.
