On September 13, 2023, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, His Excellency Dato’ Sri Amran Mohamed Zin, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Ardasher Qodiri.
During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Malaysia in various areas of cooperation, including the importance of high-level visits. They also discussed investment issues, explored new opportunities to expand trade relations, and held political consultations between foreign ministries. Particular attention was paid to the upcoming Dushanbe Investment Forum – 2023, in which the Ambassador called on the Malaysian side to participate.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to expand cooperation for mutual benefit.
