On 15th of September 2023 His Excellency Mr. Ardasher Qodiri, the esteemed Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, embarked on a significant diplomatic visit to LH PLUS SDH BHD, Malaysia’s second-largest manufacturer of plastic products. During this visit, the Embassy delegation were received with utmost respect by LH PLUS CEO, Mr. Callum Chen, and top managers of the company.
The Embassy delegation was treated to an insightful tour of the LH PLUS factory, gaining firsthand knowledge of the company’s state-of-the-art facilities and advanced manufacturing processes. A comprehensive presentation showcased LH PLUS SDH BHD’s remarkable achievements in the plastic manufacturing industry.
LH PLUS SDH BHD has garnered international acclaim for its focus on exporting products abroad, with an impressive 95 percent of its manufactured goods being exported to destinations such as Japan, Australia, the United States, Europe, and numerous other countries. Among the company’s prestigious clientele are global giants such as Walmart, Walt Disney, Target, Costco, and many other renowned businesses.
A notable feature of LH PLUS SDH BHD’s operations is its commitment to environmental sustainability. The company derives 20 percent of its energy for production from solar panels, a significant contribution to reducing its carbon footprint. LH PLUS has implemented a sophisticated monitoring system to track the power generated by its solar panels and measure the daily reduction in CO2 emissions, aligning with global efforts to combat climate change.
During the meeting, Mr. Callum Chen, CEO of LH PLUS, expressed the company’s aspiration to enter the Central Asian market. Drawing from his visit to Tajikistan earlier in 2023, Mr. Chen emphasized that Tajikistan’s strategic location and conducive business environment make it an optimal base for LH PLUS to access the Central Asian market. Both sides recognized the potential for mutual benefit and agreed to explore the possibility of partnering with a Tajikistan-based company to establish a manufacturing facility similar to LH PLUS in Tajikistan.
Mr. Ardasher Qodiri, the Ambassador of Tajikistan in Malaysia highlighted the upcoming opportunity to discuss business prospects with a group of Tajik entrepreneurs during their planned visit to Malaysia in late October 2023, further reinforcing the commitment to fostering economic ties between the two nations.
