On 18 July 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia Ardasher Qodiri presented his credentials to the King of Malaysia Young Di Pertuan Agong XVI, Sultan Abdullah Riyatudin Al-Mustafa Billah.
During the conversation, which was followed to the ceremony the King of Malaysia wished the Ambassador of Tajikistan success in fulfilling his responsible diplomatic mission. The Ambassador stressed that Tajikistan is interested in strengthening of cooperation in various fields with Malaysia and further expending of its relations with other countries of the region.
The King of Malaysia noted that there is a sufficient potential for the development and deepening of bilateral relations, which is not fully utilized, and expressed the hope that the appointment of the Ambassador will give an impetus to the development of these relations.
In addition, the sides discussed prospects for the development of bilateral relations in the economic, political and humanitarian spheres and active interaction within the framework of international and regional organizations.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan assured that he would make every effort for the fruitful development and deepening of bilateral relations between friendly countries and peoples.
