Virtual Expert Group Meeting Between Tajikistan and Malaysia

On 7 July 2021, Expert group meeting was held between Tajikistan and Malaysia in the format of videoconference.

The expert group of Tajikistan was headed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Food Security under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. M. Shirinjonzoda, while the Secretary General of the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities Datuk Ravi Muthayan headed the Malaysian expert group.

The expert groups exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations in economic, trade, agriculture, and food security by emphasizing the importance of organizing the scheduled bilateral events between two countries.

The parties also discussed collaboration between the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations as well as other issues of mutual interest.
