On 22 January 2020, the regular meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan was held. The Chairman of the Collegium, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin, the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Foreign Affairs Azamsho Sharifi, the Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Parviz Davlatzoda, members of the Collegium, as well as the heads of departments and divisions of the Ministry attended the meeting.

The Collegium discussed the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2020, the Action Plan of the Ministry for 2021, as well as the current issues.

The First Deputy Foreign Minister Khusrav Noziri made a report on the first topic while the Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Huseinzoda on the second subject. Subsequently, the heads of departments of the Ministry also delivered their reports.

The Collegium approved the Action Plan of the Ministry for 2021 and adopted the relevant decisions on the issues discussed at the meeting.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs gave instructions to strengthen the work system and improve the activities of the central office, as well as diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Tajikistan abroad.
