On Jun 25, 2020 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia H.E. Ardasher Qodiri has met with the President/Chief Executive Officer of Tenaga Nasional Berhad Mr. Amir Hamzah Bin Azizan and the Chief International Officer Mr. Shahazwan Harris also participated in this meeting.

Tenaga Nasional Berhad is the largest state-owned electricity company in Malaysia, providing electricity to most of the public, residential and industrial enterprises in Malaysia.

On the above-mentioned meeting, the parties discussed the hydropower potential and investment projects of this sector in the Republic of Tajikistan and noted the importance of exchanging experience between the specialists in the field of electricity of two countries.

At the same time, the sides discussed the subject of sending a delegation of Tenaga Nasional Berhad to the Republic of Tajikistan to learning the possibility of hydropower potential of the country.
