On May 25, 2022 in Bandung, Indonesia, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia, Republic of Indonesia, Kingdom of Thailand and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to UNESCAP with residence in Kuala Lumpur, Mr. Ardasher Qodiri met with the Board of Executives Operation of Bio Farma Mr. M. Rahman Roestan and Senior Manager of International Marketing and Sales Mr. Hidayat Setiadji.
At the meeting were provided a presentation and detailed information about the activities and achievements of Bio Farma, the development and production of new vaccines and drugs for various diseases, including coronavirus.
Bio Farma as a state-own company and having experience and learning processes for more than 130 years, it was stressed that the establishment of the first joint pharmaceutical plant in Tajikistan could serve as an example for the further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of herbal medicine health and pharmaceutics between Tajikistan and Indonesia.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador was shown the Museum of Bio Farma, where he got acquainted with the history and milestones in the development of biopharmaceuticals since 1890.
