On February 6, 2024, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Ardasher Qodiri held a meeting with the Director-General of the Department of South Asian, Middle East, and African Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand Mr. Worawoot Pongprapapant. During the meeting a thorough discussion was conducted on the current diplomatic and economic relations, where both sides noted the extensive potential for expanding cooperation. Ambassador Qodiri emphasized the need to expand interaction, particularly in key sectors crucial for the future development and prosperity of both countries.

Specific directions for deepening relations were proposed, including strengthening diplomatic dialogue through regular high-level meetings, improving trade and investment links, cultural and educational exchanges, as well as cooperation in the fields of science, technology, and innovation.
