On March 12, 2020, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Sirojiddin Muhriddin has sent the congratulation letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia His Excellency Hishammuddin Tun Hussein on the occasion of his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
In respond, the Minister Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, His Excellency Hishammuddin Tun Hussein sent his letter of thanks to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Sirojiddin Muhriddin.
The letter reads, in particular:
“Your Excellency,
I have the honour to express my sincere appreciation for the kind message Your Excellency have extended to me on my appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
Malaysia highly values her relations with the Republic of Tajikistan. As I take the helm of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, I am determined to expend and deepen these relations by bringing in new dynamic engagements between our two countries especially in the field of trade and investment and people-to-people contacts.
In this respect, I look forward to working closely with you to take our relations to higher level.
I wish you continued good health and happiness, as progress and prosperity for the brotherly people of the Republic of Tajikistan.
