Business Networking event between MASSA – EXIM Bank and Embassies of Central Asian countries in Malaysia

On March 14, 2023 MASSA (Malaysia South-South Association) in collaboration with EXIM Bank organized a Business Networking event to reconnect cooperation and business opportunity in post Covid-19 crisis with the Central Asian region comprising Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
This event was organized with the aim to feature the Central Asian countries with EXIM Bank’s expertise and knowledge and MASSA’s services as a business association to bring together members, clients and stakeholders to reconnect with the view towards revitalizing business connections and form trade linkages between Malaysia and Central Asia.
In the frame of the event Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia, Republic of Indonesia, Kingdom of Thailand and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to UNESCAP with residence in Kuala Lumpur Mr. Ardasher Qodiri made a presentation on investment climate and business opportunities in Tajikistan with proposals to potential investors, highlighting the key points of business facilitation services in Tajikistan.
EXIM Bank is a government-owned Development Financial Institution (DFI), tasked with delivering effective financing and takaful solutions for cross-border ventures. The Bank was established to amongst others, promote reverse investment and export of strategic sectors such as capital goods, infrastructure projects, shipping, value added manufactured products and to facilitate the entry of Malaysian companies to new markets, particularly to the non-traditional markets.
