On January 21–23, 2025, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Malaysia, Republic of Indonesia, Kingdom of Thailand, and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tajikistan to UNESCAP with residence in Kuala Lumpur, participated in the Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Meeting for the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, held in Bangkok.

The meeting brought together representatives from governments, international organizations, and the expert community to discuss key issues related to combating transnational crime, strengthening international cooperation in law enforcement, and developing innovative approaches to criminal justice. Discussions covered topics such as the digital transformation of law enforcement systems, tackling emerging forms of crime, and reinforcing the rule of law in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
