On April 14, 2021, for the purpose of the development of Tourism of Tajikistan the Embassy of Tajikistan in Malaysia organized an online meeting to discuss the direction of establishing cooperation and develop the tourism sphere of Tajikistan.

H.E Jurazoda Tojiddin Chairman of Committee of Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, H. E Juraev Abdurauf economic consultant of the secretariat of Investment Council under the President of Tajikistan, H.E Austen Zecha Founder and CEO of OSC SDN BHD and representatives of travel companies from Tajikistan participated in the event.

The participants exchanged views on directions of establishing cooperation and stressed the importance of joint efforts for promoting Tajikistan as a tourism destination for people of ASEAN region in the post-pandemic period.
