On 19 June 2021, in Antalya, Turkey, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

The issues of expansion of bilateral political, trade, economic and cultural relations have been considered at the meeting. It was also stressed the need to implement the agreements reached at the 14th session of the Tajik-Iranian Joint Commission, which was held in Dushanbe on 7-8 June 2021.
