On February 6, 2020, during his official visit to Malaysia, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with Tajik students in Kuala Lumpur.
Foreign Minister informed about Tajikistan’s last years’ achievements in the fields of economy, water and energy, industry, tourism and folk crafts and urged young students as specialists with international level education to make a worthy contribution to the development of our beloved homeland-Tajikistan.
He noted that 2020 is an important year for the future of Tajikistan and its people. The election of members of the Parliament in early March and the election of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan at the end of 2020 will be held. The Minister addressed the students and citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan who are studying and working in Malaysia, and stated that all citizens of Tajikistan should actively participate with a high sense of patriotism and responsibility in these important political and crucial events.
