On February 6, 2020 in Putrajaya, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Malaysia Dato Seri Wan Azizah binti Wan Ismail received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojidin Muhriddin.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed to the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia the letter of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan addressed to King of Malaysia as well as the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan addressed to the Prime Minister of Malaysia to participate in the Second High-level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028″, which will be held on June 18-20, 2020 in Dushanbe.

In the meeting, bilateral cooperation between the two countries and its further strengthening in various fields were discussed, as well as views on cooperation between the two countries in the framework of regional and international organizations were exchanged.

Both sides agreed by joint efforts to bring bilateral relations to a new level and take the necessary measures to achieve high goals.
