On September 18, 2023, the Director-General of the National Disaster Management Agency, Mr. Datuk Khairul Shahril Bin Idrus, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia, Mr. Ardasher Qodiri. This meeting served as a platform for discussing issues related to bilateral cooperation, establishing contacts, and the upcoming Asian Conference on Disaster Reduction – 2023, titled “Effective Integration of Disaster Risk Reduction Measures through the Use of Digital Transformations,” scheduled for October 20th of the current year.
