On 18 May 2023, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the UNESCAP, Ardasher Qodiri had a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Director General, Department of South Asian, Middle East and African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Ms. Wanalee Lohpechra.
At the meeting, the two sides expressed greater interest in strengthening cooperation in the field of trade and investment, industry, tourism, culture and emphasized the need for air connectivity between the two countries.
For this purpose, Ambassador of Tajikistan mentioned the importance of holding bilateral political consultations and exchange of visits of high level officials of the two countries.
The parties further exchanged views on the ways of strengthening cooperation in the framework of international and regional organizations and also legal and normative framework between the two countries.
