On October 13, 2021, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia His Excellency Ardasher Qodiri has met with His Excellency Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Bin Mazlan, Undersecretary South and Central Asia Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for further expansion and deepening of Tajik-Malaysian relations in the political, economic, cultural and tourism spheres. It was noted that high-level visits play a key role in raising relations between the two countries and the parties should take new steps to implement them after pandemic. Both parties expressed their willingness to develop cooperation for mutual benefit and stressed the importance of joint efforts for the strengthening collaboration in the future.
