On September 11, 2020 H. E Mr. Ardasher Qodiri Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia has met with H. E. Datuk Tan Cheng Kiat the President of Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI).

The meeting was attended by Mr. Shaun Edward Cheah the Executive Director of the International Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia and Mr. Wong Hin Wei the Chief administrative officer of MICCI.

The sides discussed the directions of establishing fruitful cooperation between Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and MICCI and emphasized the importance of joint efforts for the developing and strengthening collaboration in various spheres. 

Both sides also discussed the possibility of creating a platform for direct cooperation between representatives of the private sectors of the two friendly countries and agreed to continue contacts for closer cooperation.
They expressed their readiness for further collaboration and to unlock the untapped potential of cooperation.
