On 25 March 2025, H.E. Ardasher Qodiri, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, met with H.E. Khairul Nazran bin Abdul Rahman, the newly appointed Undersecretary of the South and Central Asian Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.

The two sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations and explored prospects for future cooperation.
