On April 19, 2023, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia, Republic of Indonesia, Kingdom of Thailand and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to UNESCAP with residence in Kuala Lumpur Mr. Ardasher Qodiri met with the Deputy Secretary General (Multilateral Affairs) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Dato Cheong Loon Lai.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations and the development of mutually beneficial relations within the framework of International Organizations, prospects for the development of cooperation between the countries, as well as the expansion of relations within the framework of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP).

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their willingness to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.
