On September 8, 2021, the King of Malaysia, the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong XVI, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah has sent a message of congratulations to the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The message reads, in particular:
“Your Excellency,
On the auspicious occasion of the 301h Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Raja Permaisuri Agong joins Us in conveying Our warmest felicitations and sincere best wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Malaysia and Tajikistan have developed a close bilateral relationship since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1992. May the longstanding ties between the two countries and people continue to flourish in the years ahead.
We take this opportunity to extend Our heartiest best wishes for Your Excellency’s continued good health and happiness and for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the Republic of Tajikistan”.
