On September 19, 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a briefing on the tragic events on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border that took place on September 14-18, 2022.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sodiq Imomi provided the briefing participants – representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Tajikistan and domestic and foreign mass media with detailed information about the chronology of events in recent days and the measures taken by the Tajik side to stabilize the situation in the border zone.
During the briefing, gratitude was expressed to the United Nations and its institutions for their readiness to provide all possible assistance to Tajikistan, as well as to the families and relatives of those killed and injured.
