On February 5, 2024, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Ardasher Qodiri, and the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Mr. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha. During the meeting, both parties discussed enhancing inter-parliamentary relations and expressed an interest in developing cooperation, which serves as a foundation for future progress and development.

The discussion covered the creation of inter-parliamentary friendship groups, the development of joint legislative initiatives, the exchange of experiences between parliamentarians and staff, and the organization of mutual visits. These steps are aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their confidence that strengthening inter-parliamentary ties will open new avenues for joint work between Tajikistan and Thailand, contributing to the establishment of long-term relationships based on mutual benefit.
