On 7 February 2025, H.E. Ardasher Qodiri, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia, met with Datuk Manoharan Periasamy, Director General of Tourism Malaysia.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in the tourism sector, particularly in marketing, branding, organizing joint promotional events, and leveraging new media to enhance tourism in both countries.
