On April 26, 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia H.E. Ardasher Qodiri paid a courtesy call to the Chairman of the World Islamic Economic Forum Foundation H.E. Tan Sri Dr. Syed Hamid Albar, which was also attended by the Secretary General of the Foundation, H.E. Tan Sri Radzi Rahman, the Managing Director of the Foundation Datuk Syed Abu Bakar and Executive Director of this Foundation Ms. Mazwin Ahmad.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on the history and civilization of the holy religion of Islam. During the discussion of ways of possible cooperation, the parties considered the issue of holding joint events within the framework of the organisation.

The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere which creates new impetus for strengthening collaboration in the future.
